September 25, 2017 From Gray

Hi mommy!!! I'll be on for about 30 mins right now and then I'll be back on again after lunch! I miss you guys a lot and pray for you several times a day! Excited for the package! Dang I miss super chix. I think I might have sam bring me some texas roadhouse rolls when we meet up at the temple next week. I'm so excited for that! That's awesome that everything in the house is done. Hopefully no more huge hail storms for a while.
That is so crazy about Puerto Rico. I can't believe it. That would be really hard to leave when the people need you most, but safety is obviously first priority. I'm sure there will still be plenty of clean up once he gets back in four months or so. 
I love you so much mom! Did you get my pictures of my favorite scriptures? Did you see my pictures in my group email last week? Did they work? Can you find out if they worked for someone who doesn't have a google email?

Yeah I went to the temple. It was awesome! Its fun getting to go every week at least for this little bit. My spirits are pretty good. Its still been hard with sally. Its really hard on her right now which is only making it harder on me. But im not gonna say anything. Its just hard to get her out of my mind sometimes. I pray for it several times a day. But yeah other than that it is good! The language is going well and the people here are aweomse. I got made zone leader this week! So thats exciting. I look over like 30 missionaries. Its daunting and humbling, but I know its a great opportunity to lead by example. That is why God wanted me to be here at this MTC. I will definitely learn and grow from it a lot. But yeah just been working really hard on reading my scriptures and praying and working on Port.

its ok mom. just sad and confused. but i know the lord has a plan. just dont understand why it had to happen this way.  she is dating someone i think. he kinda looks like me lol except he has huge ears. your right. its just time to turn a corner. no matter how hard that is. im gonna write her a letter today just telling her how i feel and be done with it. im being transferred. Good morning my sweet boy! How was your week? I’m hoping there were some baptisms and the people followed through on their commitments:) Did you love conference? One of my favorite things about it was how I knew we were sitting there doing the exact same thing at the same time! That was comforting to me. I absolutely loved it! If you didn’t get a chance to watch the women’s broadcast you should try. I will send you an Ensign conference edition when it gets here so you can read all the talks again and study them. I feel like I received many personal messages from the talks. So many of them focused on our ability to stay faithful and receive comfort during trials... not one minute of our suffering is wasted. It is all for our good and our growth. That was one of the messages that I took away and feel strengthened by.  I also felt a recommitment to strengthening my conversion.
