Yayy im so glad it is here. i will try to read it today, but im glad you are sending it cause idk how i would print it to have it with me anytime. i have no idea about packages. but since you send them to the mission office it could be sitting there and i wouldnt get it until a couple weeks later when i or someone from my district goes to the mission office. but we are decently close to the mission office where i am serving so i think we can go on pdays if we want. idk honestly how it will work. it kinda sucks for me and sally writing letters to eachother just cause i wanted to be able to do once a month each of us write but idk if we can even do that cause it just takes a while. honestly rn i cant think of anything that i need. i would love dr. pepper jelly beans just cause they are my favorite, but other than that i seem to be good. im glad you like the pics! i havent heard a mission rule against it so i guess ill keep sending them haha. the one with carlos is with me, m...

hi mom im on!! its been a pretty crazy week. very tough at times but very good at times too. the language is soooo hard and the people talk so fast. my companion is elder lima da silva. he is awesome and a good missionary but speaks pretty much no english. we can communicate but only when he talks slow. that has easily been the hardest part. no one speaks english here and out of 18 new missionaries i came in with only 3 were american. it was way hard. i was super stressed out about the language. and ive heard it actually takes longer than most people say so i try not to worry about it much. but yeah there has been a ton of just not understanding this week. it really sucks. but other than that i have been pretty good. the food here is pretty good honestly, just rice beans and lots of meat. they have stores on every corner with snacks which is awesome. usually not like filling snacks but i tried to get more stuff like that when we went grocery shopping today. the people are amazing. they...

Momma!! Yeah so I got my visa and travel plans!! I didn't get an email but I went to the travel office and they printed off a copy. So I leave for the airport in a shuttle at 8:50 am on monday. Then I'm sure we will get there around 9:50 am. Then my flight is at 11:30!! Which kinda sucks cause its not a lot of time to call you guys. But then I get to atlanta at 5:07pm and then I have around a 3 hour layover until 8:19pm. So I'm hoping they have the same type of calling phones that I can use my calling card on. If not, I'll just have to beg people to use their phones. SO PLEASE ANSWER ANY CALL YOU GET on monday cause most likely its from me. I can't believe you're going to be leaving for Brazil in 1 week!!! Are you getting excited, nervous or both? Well Tuesday is mine and dad's 25th wedding anniversary! I can't believe it. We've sure had a wonderful life together so far. Not perfect, very difficult at times... but we have worked hard together and created something really special. When I look at the family we've created, it feels sacred to me. We're making more plans to go to Italy in the spring, but are trying to figure out something smaller to do this weekend. The problem is, it is homecoming so we want to be there for Abby too. We'll figure something out. I'm sure you heard about the 59 people that were killed in Las Vegas and a huge outdoor country concert last week. It s the biggest mass murder ever in our history. It's been the focus of a lot of news coverage and talk this week. There are lots of stories of heroism... people helping strangers. ...
hi momma! Yeah so i saw sam this morning. It was actually super good and really happy. I'm a little trunky now, but I'll be fine. It's also cause of sally too. Like she'll just send me pictures and my heart just starts to pound. She took some fall pictures this week and mom she is seriously the most beautiful girl on this planet. I can't believe it. If I pull this off I feel like i'll be the luckiest man in the world. She is perfect haha. I think she is still struggling a bit, which makes me sad but i guess is also good. Its just hard cause no matter how much I try not to think of her, I still do and honestly my feelings have only gotten stronger. I don't know what I would do if she got married. Hi sweet boy! I've thought about you so much this week! Especially this weekend... I love knowing that we are both watching conference at the same time. I know that sounds silly, but it gives me comfort:) Did you love conference??!!! I really did! I went into this weekend with some specific thoughts and questions that I took to Heavenly Father in prayer and I felt like many talks spoke directly to me. It was a really great experience. I listened closely to Elder Parrella and I thought he was great! I think I really liked Bednar's but I never know completely until I can go back and reread it... it is always so full of doctrine when he speaks.
