Grayson and Mom on a Mission

yo momma! So this week we planned the baptismal interview for Gabriel with our LD and turns out the mom kinda got scared and didnt allow it to happen/: She said that she wants him to have more of  knowledge of what he is doing and of the doctrine of the church. She started off saying 6 months! But then the LD still did the interview and literally Gabriel came out saying he still wanted to be baptized this sunday. Then the Mom lowered the time to 1 month. So i should still be here. I still have no idea about a specific date but im hoping its in the next transfer. The frustrating thing was after she said all this, neither of them went to church cause they had a bday party on sunday. But she promised she would be there with him next week so im thinking the church should do a good job in reaffirming her that he is in good hands. Natiele also was a struggle. Hello my amazing wonderful son! I'm sitting here at the airport and we are getting ready to head back to Texas.  I always feel a little sad when I leave Utah because I love it here. Plus we had such a great weekend with all of our family.  Sydney and Cam had such a beautiful wedding at the temple.  The sealer was really great and Cam was teary through the whole thing.  The reception was fun but Dad and Abby didn't really like it. The location was so cool.  It was a museum located in the mountains up by UofU.  One entire wall was made of windows and the view of the entire valley was so great!  One of the pictures I sent you was of us standing out on the patio at sunset.  The biggest problem with the venue was that all the DJ and activity was at the very back and it got lost in the huge area.  There were 400 guests!  Probably too many people so I completely missed hearing Rob's toast and some other things that went on because you could...

Hi Sweetie! First of all, last week, my last two emails didn't go thru to you so you probably thought I just walked away from our conversation!  I would never do that!  So you may have a few of the same email today in your inbox because I was trying to resend it a few times.   And speaking of pday conversations, next Monday we will be traveling back from Utah.  I should have landed by the time you get online, but just in case I don't respond, we could be on a delayed flight or something.  In texas I think we are just two hours behind you now. Yes i lovedddddd conference! such an awesome experience and i feel like i learned a ton. and yeah we gotta a BRASILEIRO as an apostle!!! im pretty sure hes the first apostle that english isnt his first language besides uchtdorf. but hes the first from south/central america so it goes to show how strong brazil is in the church. we were in the chapel listening when they announced it and the stake president on the stand did a total fist pump hahah and the chapel all gasped. My comp said it was like Brazil had just scored a goal in the world cup hahahahha.  NO WAY. im sooooo freaking happy for erik and for his decision to go to the Lord and ask for help and get his life straight. that is sooooo so awesome im so happy rn. and to see that hes already been blessed because of it is so great. i think it will keep him on the right path for the rest of his life. Hi sweet boy!  How is my beautiful son this Monday?  Did you love this weekend? Conference was so great!  Did you know that the new apostle Elder Soares is from Sao Paulo?!  So many big changes announced that sound really exciting.  It is amazing that Pres. Nelson is 93 years old but he is so sharp mentally and physically.  He has sought revelation to help the church prepare for the second coming and we are now being asked to step up and be better.  I think it is wonderful and I hope I can live up to what I need to do to be a better disciple.
