Oh my goodness!  How is it possible that this is our last letter of your mission?  How long and yet how fast the time went.  I have missed you every single day my sweet son.  But I have had so much joy watching you become a man of God before my eyes these past two years.  I have watched you put others first and put your pursuits on hold in order to love others and serve the Lord.  This quote reminds me of you today: "Sacrifice is a demonstration of pure love. HAHAH suckers they are leaving just now! lol jk. Its true for me in a lot of ways it feels like it was yesterday, but also in some ways it feels like forever. But i am glad that in 2 weeks ill be able to see you guys. It certainly has been 2 years and its been packed full of experiences for me and im glad to be going home a different person.  dang thats pretty crazy...70 people!! I wish i could have been there! I talked with spence today. I talked so much hahaha. There is just so much to tell him. It was even a little hard for me at the end. Idk its just so crazy to be on the other side now. But it was good to be able to tell him about everything that he will go into and all the wonderful experiences. It makes me sad thinking that I wont have those experiences anymore. But more than anything I just have so much respect for each and every missionary who makes the unselfish decision to leave his home and go preach the gospel because of his love of the Lord. Hi my love!! Abby and i are sitting at the airport ready to take off for home. There are tons of Missionaries leaving here. We’re watching them say goodbye to their families and it’s heartbreaking to watch but it’s exciting to know in two weeks you will be with us! I think back to when we were saying goodbye to you and it seems so long ago. But in another way the time has gone quickly and I can’t believe in two weeks you’ll be home with us!  We had a great week here! Spencer‘s talk was phenomenal and the whole meeting was really great. They do pretty big farewell celebrations here so Noelle had lunch for about 70 people at her house right after church. We worked really hard to pull that off and it was a lot of fun. hello momma!!!  So yes Luis is gonna be baptized and I couldnt be happier! On Sunday after sacrament meeting I was talking with some people and the bishop came over and told me he wanted to talk with me and my comps. We followed him up to the stand and I realized Luis was up there on the stand already talking with a counselor and our ward mission leader. My heart started beating fast immediately as I already had an idea of what maybe could happen. He told us that he had decided about 2 months ago that he was gonna be baptized and then he chose this date because it was the only weekend that both I and his son will be at home (his son gets home from BYU I on the 1st). I felt such an overwhelming joy in that moment, it was hard to hold in the tears. I feel so happy for this man. Ive grown to love him and have a great friendship with him. (Btw him and his wife have already talked about visiting us in Texas here in a couple years when their son gets back from his mission!). I felt s...

Yeah the baptism was really fun. I always say that i look for experiences on the mission, and that was one of them. lol Dr. Rey is a really strange dude. but im grateful for him cause hes a missionary! He helped us out a lot with her. idk if it would have happened if it wasnt for him. She said that she felt a lot of peace after her decision. She said she felt really great about what she had decided so that was exciting. We confirmed her on sunday and it was really good. The ward did really well with her and she is really excited to go to the temple to baptize her brother who died last year. She also even wants to get her patriarchal blessing cause i think dr. rey talked a bit about it with her. The rest of the week went well! Lots of searching for new people. We havent had a ton of success but im not worried. I know the Lord will bless us in His time. Like I said that family didnt go to church, but i think they are all good still.
