Hi love!!! Ok.  Lots of school info for you.  First of all, you are able to register April 1st.  So I need to know which classes you'd like to take on your next pday!  I've attached the required courses for both Accounting and Finance.  Here are some classes that are required by both: Acc 241 (business law) IS 201 (information systems) M Comm 320 (business communications) My recommendation is you take 2 of those (total of 6 credits), two gen ed classes (Im recommending Physical Science 100 and something to fulfill your Civilizations 1 requirement), and 1 religion class (probably New Testament).  That would give you 14 hours.  You could still have all your requirements easily done before applying to either program. By taking the classes required by both, you are keeping your options open until you decide what to do and get accepted.  Knowing how hard it is to get in, Id apply to both just to be safe.   I  can reg...

wowwww your trip looks like it was fun!! I MISS THE BEACH BROOOO. ahhh it looks so nice. but taylors husband is still ugly lol.  haha thats funny that ryan was still remembered at the wedding. i miss the dance floor at weddings bruh i need to throw out my dance moves.  thats funny about the people on the beach. It reminds me a little of brazil lol. Yesterday President said maybe on a pday he would take the staff to a beach here close by. I was like "what??" He was talking super serious, so idk maybe it will actually happen. BUt it would be sick.  Thats so crazy how early abby comes home! shes gonna be bored this summer! she better get to work and make a ton of money!  Our week was good! we found a really good new area to work. We have found some really good people there so far. There was one woman named paula who came to church this week. I think she really liked it and even talked already about coming back in the next week and that she would bring he...

What's up Elder G! Hello my boy.  How was your week?  Do you attend leadership meetings still?  When is your next one? I'm still in sunny california.  I've had a very busy week but super fun too.  I got to CA on Tuesday and we've been in wedding mode ever since.  It was nice today to have a slow day where we could just hang out.  I love Kellie and Laurie's whole family.  Of course Don and his potty mouth were here. LOL.  He's a nut.  We have people sleeping in beds, on couches, on the floor.  everywhere!  But it has been so fun.  Today we got to relax and watch Shawn's new movie that he is trying to get released.  It is showing at some film festivals now so that is so exciting. It was so great! You'll have to see it when you get home.   The wedding was Friday night and they were married at the LA temple that morning.  The reception was that night at a country club with a beautiful view of t...

hahah thats funny grant turner is leaving. Im soooo proud of parker!! yeah i saw the first presidency and the 12 at the temple!! that was a legendaryyyyyyy photo from the temple with the statues. That temple would be a cool one to visit. DId you see the articles about Elder Uchtdorf here in brazil?? he had planned a mission tour with our mission but then he had a mix up in his schedule.....But all the bishops and stake presidents from our mission had a meeting with him. Look up the articles on  lds.org . I really wanna visit a few temples when i get back. I think its a great goal to go once a month. Are you going once a month nigga???? dad said one time while i was on the mish that he hadnt been in a few (like 5) months. You guys need to just meet up after his work at the temple every month! Thats awesome! Send me pics of taylor austins husband! and thats way sweet that abby is gonna be a bridesmaid. Im glad they have been able to become good friends.  My week was ...

Hi baby boy!!! Well Parker did a great job at his homecoming:)  It was also Grant Turner's farewell.  He is heading  to Tampa FL in a week.  It's funny because when Parker had his farewell, it was Sam's homecoming too.  We got together that night at the Opfars and ate lots of cookies because mostly just the Core 4 families were there.  Bishop Brown and Sister Brown were there too.  And Jason just submitted his mission papers.  The bummer is that the entire 1st presidency and the quorum of the 12 were at the Rome temple dedication this weekend.  So I think that slows down the mission calls.   By the way, have you seen pictures of the Rome temple? It looks amazing! I really want to go visit.  It has made me think a lot about the temple and what I need to do better to be there more often and make my time there more meaningful.  I have a quote from Pres. Nelsen to share with you. "Our need to be in the temple on a reg...

hey momma! i dont know if i would say that i feel like i have "enough" time but i feel like the time is sufficient and that the Lord is blessing us as we work hard with the little time we had. We kinda saw 2 examples this week of missionaries slacking off and us getting to work and us being blessed because of that. On Saturday night we saw the sister missionaries from our ward going home early. It was rainy and kinda miserable and we were soaked but we wanted to keep working. We had an appt at 8 with a girl named vitoria from the english class. Turns out she is an elect!!! She already shared with us the insane desire she has to serve a mission. She thinks what we do is so cool. Its so funny and weird the first case ive ever had like this. We found her on saturday night and she showed up to church alone on sunday. She felt so great at church and loved everything about it. She asked great questions like "how can i know this is true for myself?" She feels a desire to b...

Hi love!!! Happy pday! Can't wait to hear about your week:)  Are you feeling like you're getting enough time to go out and teach? How did your first week as solo Financial Secretary go?  I'm sure the mission is in good financial hands with you running things.  Kinda crazy to think you're in charge of all the financial operations now! How do you like the calling? Well the highlight of this week was Parker coming home:) It brought tears to my eyes for many reasons.  I'm so proud of Parker.  AND it made me think of our reunion that isn't too far off.  He looks great and is so happy.  I love seeing people come home from their mission and feel the joy they have.  I think it was a little hard for Parker when he went to get released and had to take off his name tag.  The thing Andrea told me is that he said, "When I was first out on my mission I remember looking at my name tag and thinking it was going to be such a long time in brazil but I...
