I feel very bittersweet as well. Its so hard to just not be swirled by a million feelings about the end of my mission. its a little hard i wont lie. Theres lots of happy thoughts about coming home, but also lots of sad thoughts thinking that my time as a missionary is coming to an end. Yesterday, there was a leadership meeting (which we honestly dont even participate in as secretaries). But i walked in to do something with president and i walked in right in the moment that the veterans were bearing there testimonies. Ugh that kinda just tore me up. It was the first time i realized it was really coming to an end. Because people from my group were bearing their testimonies of their missions. It was a really weird feeling. Im scared for it all to end lol. but also i cant wait to see what this new start will do for me.  Bruh if you guys are gonna be working on the bathroom while im home for a month, id rather you guys just wait till im at college and start then.  Ok I was ...

Hi Baby!  Happy last transfer!  I can't believe it!  Less than 6 weeks of your mission left in Brazil.  I feel bittersweet about it... I'm soooooo excited to wrap my arms around you and see your handsome face! But at the same time, there is part of me that feels sad. Our home feels more sacred when we have a missionary serving. It feels special. It is an amazing time for you to be so singularly focused on the Lord and His work. You'll never have that opportunity again.  When you get home you'll have to find balance.  How do you put the Lord first while moving your life and dreams forward? It can be difficult to do at times.  But I know you have the faith and desire and have learned many tools to help you.  I'd love to hear what some of your goals and plans are for when you get home.  I was really sick last week but I'm much better now!!! So it was largely uneventful.  The one BIG bummer is that our bathroom contractor has disappeare...

yo yo momma! Yeah bruh 7 weeks. 7x7 is 49 days ahhhhh thats crazy. i dont even know how to feel at this point. Im about to head into my last transfer on my mission. It will be the first of a lot of lasts here on the mission.  I will send pics of the baptism in my big email. It was great. im so happy cause he almost fell through cause his son was put in prison this past week. So that complicated things, but he trusted and went through with it and it went great. He has a lot of guy friends in the ward and i think thats something that he doesnt have in his normal life so that is awesome! So yeah my second baptism on my mission. her name is Elaine. Like i said she had gotten super firm in the church after i left the area and was doing super great. She went to do baptisms, was a teacher in the YW organization, gave a talk, and got her patriarchal blessing. Im not sure why but after 8 months or so she kinda distanced herself from the church. But i texted her last night and she told m...

Happy pday G!  7 weeks:)  You're not the only one counting:)   How was your week  baby??  Send more pics of the baptism.  I'm so happy about that!  Also, tell me about talking to your second baptism this week.  How was he/she?  Remaining strong? We had a great father's day and Abby's bday.  I'm super tired because I had so much to do right when I got back from Utah.  We are going back to utah for Spencer's farewell on July 21.  By the time we get home on the 23rd, we will only have 2 weeks until you're home!!!!  And today my friend had surgery so I'm making dinner for them right now.  I'm making homemade french bread!  Remember... with herbs de provance on it:)  What is your first meal you want when you get home, by the way? Do you want lunch at Torchys right when you get home? So a few logistical things...  1. Thailand is really, really expensive flights at Christmas.  We...

Hi Elder G! Another week down.  We are getting so close to the end of your mission in Brazil... I cant believe it.  Tell me all about your week! How are Paula and Cristiano doing? Who did you teach this week? What did you guys do for Pday today? Im in Utah this week.  I arrived Saturday and the weather is incredible here! Its so gorgeous in the summer.  I've been helping Dani out a lot with the girls and spending time with Noelles fam.  Laurie and Kellie got here yesterday and we had lunch with a friend from high school that I haven't seen for 17 years.  We had lots of fun and walked around the temple grounds (see pics). We had a great day.  Today I'm headed to Provo after I take care of Winnie and Piper again this afternoon.  Ill have dinner with Sam.  He seems to really like his internship.  I think things are going great.  Abby just got two new job offers (a restaurant called Petra right in front of Tucker Hill and the G...
