Grayson and Mom on a Mission

Hi momma! first of all, thank you for all your prayers, thoughts, and fast. I know i have had a lot of help from all around the world this week. My new comp is awesome. He is a cool cool dude and we get along super well. but what i like most about him is he has a super strong testimony. He teaches better than anyone i know. he always uses comparisons and stuff like that. He truly connects with people and we have both been able to learn a lot from eachother i think. I also think senior comp was one thing i really needed. it gave me just enough responsibility to step up a little. I talk a lot in lessons, i do lots of contacts, i do all the things that i know an example of a senior companion should do. i have seen those decisions bless me and really bless my port. also. Alvarenga helps me a ton with port. and i help him with english so its really good practice and im improving a lot.  My district leader is ehh. definitely seen much better, but its not a super big deal. my district...

Sam and Gray,  I'm actually addressing this letter to my two wonderful sons... for a good reason. Yesterday Abby and I were talking about marriage and the type of man she wants to marry.  We were having a good laugh at her past choices.  Although they were good guys, your sister is a little bit of a rescuer.  She likes to reach out to someone in need and try to "fix" them.  Its a great quality actually to help others become better.  My only concern with her is that she not "rescue" her husband.  But that she choose someone amazing, faithful, strong, loving, generous, kind, fun and helps her to want to be the best person she can be.  I think she has come a long way and has a better understanding of who she wants to end up with.  Her comment to me, and the reason I am sharing this with you, was "I want to marry someone like Sam and Grayson."   Well you can imagine as a mom how sweet that statement was to me.  But it h...

hi momma! i dont have much time today. my companion likes to spend 2 1/2 hours eating lunch with members on freaking PDAY!!! just sitting there talking about random stuff. Im like dawg we have 6 days a week to eat lunch with members and 1 day to do anything else. Not gonna lie hes driving me a little crazy mom. I hate to be counting down cause i dont wanna do that until the end of my mission, but im truly counting down the next 14 days. UGH hes killing me. its hard to explain but hes just crazy. He loves the work but its literally a fantasy for him. He stays up at night just thinking about the work. even on pday, he refuses to talk about anything else.
