Yayy im so glad it is here. i will try to read it today, but im glad you are sending it cause idk how i would print it to have it with me anytime.

i have no idea about packages. but since you send them to the mission office it could be sitting there and i wouldnt get it until a couple weeks later when i or someone from my district goes to the mission office. but we are decently close to the mission office where i am serving so i think we can go on pdays if we want. idk honestly how it will work. it kinda sucks for me and sally writing letters to eachother just cause i wanted to be able to do once a month each of us write but idk if we can even do that cause it just takes a while. honestly rn i cant think of anything that i need. i would love dr. pepper jelly beans just cause they are my favorite, but other than that i seem to be good.

im glad you like the pics! i havent heard a mission rule against it so i guess ill keep sending them haha. the one with carlos is with me, my comp, carlos, and a member. he is brazilian, just a little lighter that most people here. some people could pass for americans. but they also have lots of straight dark skin black brazilians which surprised me.

i definitely see improvement honestly almost every day so in a week i see a lot. but there is a lot to learn still. i just start understanding more words when people talk. so i just need to keep learning more words and then i will understand more when people talk. me and my companion try to do language study sometimes but it is just hard cause he doesnt know what i have and havent learned. i honestly just like studying by myself even though i know its best to talk to someone. but i try to talk as much as i can during lessons and on the street, which still isnt a ton. lessons actually arent bad cause i can talk about the gospel pretty easily. its just understanding what the people say back. everyone has different accents so its hard to get a hang of. my comp is good. we are good friends and he helps me learn a lot. i actually really like him it will just be hard until i learn more which ive accepted. i was upset with him once cause he gave me the phone to deal with all the calling and stuff that we do and obviously im not able to do that. i was just like this is dumb for me to even try. most americans dont start using the phone until 6 months. just cause they talk on the phone differently and its hard to understand most of the time. but other than that everything has been good with him. he is the only member in his family i think which is crazy. idk how much support he gets. i feel like he is paying for his whole mission but he might have help from the church. his mom cant read so he cant even talk with her so that is crazy and would suck. he has a girlfriend that he emails. but he only has 10 more weeks on the mish. which is honestly tough for me, just cause he is preparing to go home and i just see my path and i have soooo long to go. that can be discouraging sometimes, but he has told me it goes quick.

im so glad i have a righteous mother behind me and so much support from so many people. it means so much mom. i love you so much. its hard to feel love from others when i cant even talk to them but once a week over email, but knowing you guys are always there for me is a huge help. its definitely hard sometimes. the mtc was a breeze compared to this. but i know i will grow so much from this experience. i just feel like i need to get to six months. it will come soon enough. but seriously thank you so much for all your love and support.

we have several investigators! i think we will baptize carlos this week, the one i sent a pic of. he just needed to talk to his parents cause they are catholic, but i think it will all work out. then there was also a 12 year old boy at church who came with his cousin cause he is a member. but he said he wants to be baptized too so that was awesome. i think we will baptize both of them this week. and then we have worked with more people so hopefully we can convert a few more people this transfer.

things with sally are good. i just suck at this so much. i told her before the mission that a plague could kill every guy on this earth and i would still be worried about leaving her. i just think she is the most perfect thing to ever walk on this earth and i am crazy about her.  its hard to imagine not being with her for two years. but i know it will get easier. i dont think she struggles as much now. she still loves me and actually talked to me about places she wants to travel when we are married in her email this week. its awesome to hear that stuff. but honestly i think no matter what she would send me i would struggle. i dont think ill ever feel comfortable or satisfied until shes back in my arms again. so that will always be hard i guess. it will get easier, but still. i try to get myself to feel a certain way if it didnt work out and i literally just cant. i really do think it will work out, just the way she talks about it and everything. i guess if it doesnt work out, i will have to deal with it at that point and it will be hell, but ill have to do it haha. but things are very good and im so excited to be able to talk to her and you guys in a couple months!! it will be awesome to get to talk to her family and stuff too cause they love me so much!

i love you mom!!

its ok mom. just sad and confused. but i know the lord has a plan. just dont understand why it had to happen this way.  she is dating someone i think. he kinda looks like me lol except he has huge ears. your right. its just time to turn a corner. no matter how hard that is. im gonna write her a letter today just telling her how i feel and be done with it. im being transferred. I will go to Jardim Simos and be with an elder I dont know. I will be the senior companion which is really cool. Hes a brazilian, just finished his traning, and has about only 3 months on the mission. Im so glad and relieved. i was just ready to leave aguiar. he is just a difficult person sometimes.  love you mom.  yeah that sounds really difficult and probably something that would be really hard to do at the mission office haha. ok thank you for looking it up.  I love you so freaking much mom! You are my hero! Sorry that it has to be all annoying like this. I will defini...

Good morning my sweet boy! How was your week? I’m hoping there were some baptisms and the people followed through on their commitments:) Did you love conference? One of my favorite things about it was how I knew we were sitting there doing the exact same thing at the same time! That was comforting to me. I absolutely loved it! If you didn’t get a chance to watch the women’s broadcast you should try. I will send you an Ensign conference edition when it gets here so you can read all the talks again and study them. I feel like I received many personal messages from the talks. So many of them focused on our ability to stay faithful and receive comfort during trials... not one minute of our suffering is wasted. It is all for our good and our growth. That was one of the messages that I took away and feel strengthened by.  I also felt a recommitment to strengthening my conversion. That also seemed to be a theme of conference. Are we living the gospel by going through the motions and check...

Hey buddy!    I’m glad I finally get a chance to sit down and write. Baby stuff has taken over my life but we are very excited to have Harper with us in the next few weeks. Excited for you to meet your new little cousin when you return. Sounds like you are doing really well! I know you’ve had minor struggles and home sickness along the way, but it’s good to see you pumped and positive. Sounds like you’re doing a great job!     Hey listen, I know everyone has chimed in on the girl situation and you’re probably tired of talking about it at this point, but I wanted to try to talk to you about it as well because I’ve had the unwelcome pleasure of going through 3 life changing heart breaks that I never thought I’d recover from so I can speak to you from experience and hopefully put some perspective on things.     I had been with Alicia for 5 years, we were in love but it was more than that. It was how the family loved her, how much I loved her family and ...
