Momma!! Yeah so I got my visa and travel plans!! I didn't get an email but I went to the travel office and they printed off a copy. So I leave for the airport in a shuttle at 8:50 am on monday. Then I'm sure we will get there around 9:50 am. Then my flight is at 11:30!! Which kinda sucks cause its not a lot of time to call you guys. But then I get to atlanta at 5:07pm and then I have around a 3 hour layover until 8:19pm. So I'm hoping they have the same type of calling phones that I can use my calling card on. If not, I'll just have to beg people to use their phones. SO PLEASE ANSWER ANY CALL YOU GET on monday cause most likely its from me. And If I call you with the calling card and you dont answer it takes a ton of minutes. But yeah I am so excited to get to talk to you guys for a little bit. It will be awesome.

HAPPY ALMOST ANNIVERSARY. 25 is a big year so thats awesome, and I'm so glad you guys are gonna get to do Italy finally. And then sams birthday is the 12th right?

Yeah I heard about the shooting in Vegas that is crazy how many people died. Did they catch the shooter? I'm glad vets were stepping in to help and everything that makes me proud.

Wow Katie Verplank called? Thats so crazy, but awesome. I'm sure that would be great for you guys. I'll pray that it all works out. It's so cool how God answers our prayers, I've had plenty of experiences like that just in a few weeks here.

Thats a cool story about the Hutto's. Yeah I could definitely how seminary would be a struggle for her, but its good that you've figured it out cause know she can still have that spiritual experience hopefully.

I'm trying to get even better at recognizing the spirit. I feel it a lot here but want to feel it even more. Its crazy cause a lot of the times I have felt the spirit or gotten answers is just during my prayer before meals in the super loud cafeteria. But I've learned to zone everything out. So that is really cool.

I had a good week. I have been studying the language realllllllly hard and the scriptures. I feel a lot of pressure to be ready and prepared in the language but I know ultimately I wont be. I'm just doing the best I can. I'm gonna try to write each of you a letter this week and send them before I head out of here.

I love you mom! Miss you so much! But I'm so excited to get down there! I might be a little homesick at first cause of the culture shock, but ultimately being brazil will be better for my home sickness. It is gonna be such a crazy experience and I truly cant wait.

Good morning my sweet boy! How was your week? I’m hoping there were some baptisms and the people followed through on their commitments:) Did you love conference? One of my favorite things about it was how I knew we were sitting there doing the exact same thing at the same time! That was comforting to me. I absolutely loved it! If you didn’t get a chance to watch the women’s broadcast you should try. I will send you an Ensign conference edition when it gets here so you can read all the talks again and study them. I feel like I received many personal messages from the talks. So many of them focused on our ability to stay faithful and receive comfort during trials... not one minute of our suffering is wasted. It is all for our good and our growth. That was one of the messages that I took away and feel strengthened by.  I also felt a recommitment to strengthening my conversion. That also seemed to be a theme of conference. Are we living the gospel by going through the motions and check...

Hey buddy!    I’m glad I finally get a chance to sit down and write. Baby stuff has taken over my life but we are very excited to have Harper with us in the next few weeks. Excited for you to meet your new little cousin when you return. Sounds like you are doing really well! I know you’ve had minor struggles and home sickness along the way, but it’s good to see you pumped and positive. Sounds like you’re doing a great job!     Hey listen, I know everyone has chimed in on the girl situation and you’re probably tired of talking about it at this point, but I wanted to try to talk to you about it as well because I’ve had the unwelcome pleasure of going through 3 life changing heart breaks that I never thought I’d recover from so I can speak to you from experience and hopefully put some perspective on things.     I had been with Alicia for 5 years, we were in love but it was more than that. It was how the family loved her, how much I loved her family and ...
