Hi momma!! yesterday was awesome. thank you guys for giving me so much happiness and motivation! Its hard to explain but it truly just gave me so much happiness to see you guys. Its passed tho and im kinda glad because i can just forget about everything for a while and give everything i have here in brazil. Im ready for that period to start where the time is the absolute fastest on the mission. Missionaries have told me it starts between 5-7 months. And i know the only way i will start to have that period is by working so absolutely hard, being obedient, forgetting my self, and relying and trusting in my Heavenly Father more than anything. Im doing my best to do all those things right now and im excited where they will take me.

They are seriously such a great family that we were able to hang out with. Lima da Silva said it might be the family i remember most about my mission just cause something like them is super rare. We will write letters to them to thank them soon.

Im excited for interviews tomorrow too. im hoping we'll be able to converse a little more and get to know each other a little better. ill let you know how it goes.

Ok well i really hope sam doesnt think im out here being disobedient!! If you guys didnt realize I was probably the happiest i had ever been in my life the last couple weeks before my mission. to leave all that behind was really hard for me. but more than anything it is a great motivation to work hard and be obedient while im out here. I was very lucky to have such happiness in my life, so if i left it to come here, what else would i do besides give it my all? the way i see it is if im not working my hardest and being obedient this is a waste of time! So i hope he realizes that. I know hes proud of me and stuff, but i just dont want him to have the wrong perspective.

Also, I was a little sad that abby hardly talked. Im not gonna say anything obviously but it seemed like she was so excited so i was a little sad when she didnt talk much. is she doing ok? I hope everything with this boy and her senior year is going good!

I hope you guys had an awesome christmas together. only one more until we are all together!!! haha i know its not much but i realized im just about 1/6 done. I really dont feel like ive been here too long so to do that 5 more times doesnt seem too bad. I know the time will only get faster! I truly had a happy christmas. After i was a little sad, but we stayed at that house and ate dinner and just laughed a lot. Im honestly fine today, ready to get back to work!

I love you mom so much! You are my greatest supporter and i cant thank you enough for what you do.  I dont have too much time so idk if ill be able to read that talk this week, but thank you for looking for that mtc talk!

I will go to Jardim Simos and be with an elder I dont know. I will be the senior companion which is really cool. Hes a brazilian, just finished his traning, and has about only 3 months on the mission. Im so glad and relieved. i was just ready to leave aguiar. he is just a difficult person sometimes.  love you mom.  yeah that sounds really difficult and probably something that would be really hard to do at the mission office haha. ok thank you for looking it up.  I love you so freaking much mom! You are my hero! Sorry that it has to be all annoying like this. I will defini...

Good morning my sweet boy! How was your week? I’m hoping there were some baptisms and the people followed through on their commitments:) Did you love conference? One of my favorite things about it was how I knew we were sitting there doing the exact same thing at the same time! That was comforting to me. I absolutely loved it! If you didn’t get a chance to watch the women’s broadcast you should try. I will send you an Ensign conference edition when it gets here so you can read all the talks again and study them. I feel like I received many personal messages from the talks. So many of them focused on our ability to stay faithful and receive comfort during trials... not one minute of our suffering is wasted. It is all for our good and our growth. That was one of the messages that I took away and feel strengthened by.  I also felt a recommitment to strengthening my conversion. That also seemed to be a theme of conference. Are we living the gospel by going through the motions and check...

Hey buddy!    I’m glad I finally get a chance to sit down and write. Baby stuff has taken over my life but we are very excited to have Harper with us in the next few weeks. Excited for you to meet your new little cousin when you return. Sounds like you are doing really well! I know you’ve had minor struggles and home sickness along the way, but it’s good to see you pumped and positive. Sounds like you’re doing a great job!     Hey listen, I know everyone has chimed in on the girl situation and you’re probably tired of talking about it at this point, but I wanted to try to talk to you about it as well because I’ve had the unwelcome pleasure of going through 3 life changing heart breaks that I never thought I’d recover from so I can speak to you from experience and hopefully put some perspective on things.     I had been with Alicia for 5 years, we were in love but it was more than that. It was how the family loved her, how much I loved her family and ...
