hi mommy! i know three months is pretty awesome! most americans and hispanics go home about a month early so that means im officially out of the 20 something month range! that feels good lol. but yeah the last two weeks especially have been fast for me. so i cant imagine around the 6 or 7 month mark how fast it will be going. i still dont know about christmas but i am sooooo excited. i told my comp we need to figure out where this week but hes just super chill about that stuff and especially now cause he goes home 2 weeks after christmas anyway. but we have a family we think we might be able to do it at. they are pretty poor and dont have a ton of room so that kinda sucks but they are super awesome and the dad sells laptops on the side and i think we might be able to use them for skype. btw we totally reactivated this family!! they werent coming to church before we got here and we just visited them a lot and created a good relationship with them and they have been at church 4 weeks in a row now. it makes me sad cause the dad is an RM and literally served in Sao paulo north. so i know he has a great testimony, but idk what has been going on.

yayyyy that feels good to have econ out of the way. and i heard about the house from dad! thats awesome but i guess foundation problems dont sound very good. i know foundation is a little bit of a scary word cause it can mean big problems. but i am praying you guys find a home either way. i think you and dad will be an awesome team at that!

So yeah i loved my packages! seriously mom thank you so much! the letters from you guys for my birthday were honestly my favorite. i love you guys so much and holy cow do i miss you. in my christmas package i got christmas lights! and then i say the more dr pepper jelly beans cause they ripped through the wrapping but i also saw other wrapped stuff and one for lima da silva which he seemed super happy about! but yeah dr pepper jelly beans are definitely a go for every package(: oh my goodness soooo good. but weve got the lights up in the house in the baptism symbol lol. ill post a selfie of us in my big email with them.

we didnt get to watch that but thats a cool story! im glad the initial shock and struggle are over. its still super super hard for me honestly but im doing better. i missed you guys so much this week cause of the packages, but its a happy missing yall so its ok. and then obviously sally will always be hard....ugh im so gonna freaking tell my kids to not get a boyfriend or girlfriend before your mission!!! im just one of those people that likes to feel certainty and i cant feel that with her right now which is obviously understandable but its just so hard on me.

thank you for the quote! ive been studying stuff like that in the scriptures a lot recently. i keep a little notebook with all my favorite scriptures. its growing and growing as i read more which is so exciting. and literally any time i need motivation i go to that and read all the scriptures. i need to remember to share with you guys at christmas!

the hair still isnt cut! i need to tho cause its probs getting too long. i was trying to cut it because by the way we went to the temple today!!! it was soooo awesome and i had a spiritual experience. i also understood a lot of the portuguese which was exciting. i know ill only go 3 or 4 more times during my mission so i took advantage of it. i stayed in the celestial room for like 30-40 minutes haha. but yeah it was great we went with all the capital part of the mission. (mission is cut in half- capital and interior. capital is near the city and interior is inside more into like sorocaba. im in captial right now). so thats why my pday was changed. ill probably get it cut soon tho. president didnt say anything so thats good haha.

so this week alexandre and his family and daniel and his family both commited to coming to church. we were so excited. then they both freaking bailed. that was super super depressing. alexandres kids were even going to seminary all this week and they loved it!! that was honestly so cool so i was super confused when he didnt show. obviously im sure things just got in the way so im not losing hope with either of them. but we had another investigator at church for her second time and she is super firm and wants to be baptized. we talked about it during church and she seemed excited. shes saying she might want to wait till like january and learn a little more, but we will talk to her this week and make sure she knows all the basics so hopefully we can move forward faster.

anyways love you mom, so much!

its ok mom. just sad and confused. but i know the lord has a plan. just dont understand why it had to happen this way.  she is dating someone i think. he kinda looks like me lol except he has huge ears. your right. its just time to turn a corner. no matter how hard that is. im gonna write her a letter today just telling her how i feel and be done with it. im being transferred. I will go to Jardim Simos and be with an elder I dont know. I will be the senior companion which is really cool. Hes a brazilian, just finished his traning, and has about only 3 months on the mission. Im so glad and relieved. i was just ready to leave aguiar. he is just a difficult person sometimes.  love you mom.  yeah that sounds really difficult and probably something that would be really hard to do at the mission office haha. ok thank you for looking it up.  I love you so freaking much mom! You are my hero! Sorry that it has to be all annoying like this. I will defini...

Good morning my sweet boy! How was your week? I’m hoping there were some baptisms and the people followed through on their commitments:) Did you love conference? One of my favorite things about it was how I knew we were sitting there doing the exact same thing at the same time! That was comforting to me. I absolutely loved it! If you didn’t get a chance to watch the women’s broadcast you should try. I will send you an Ensign conference edition when it gets here so you can read all the talks again and study them. I feel like I received many personal messages from the talks. So many of them focused on our ability to stay faithful and receive comfort during trials... not one minute of our suffering is wasted. It is all for our good and our growth. That was one of the messages that I took away and feel strengthened by.  I also felt a recommitment to strengthening my conversion. That also seemed to be a theme of conference. Are we living the gospel by going through the motions and check...

Hey buddy!    I’m glad I finally get a chance to sit down and write. Baby stuff has taken over my life but we are very excited to have Harper with us in the next few weeks. Excited for you to meet your new little cousin when you return. Sounds like you are doing really well! I know you’ve had minor struggles and home sickness along the way, but it’s good to see you pumped and positive. Sounds like you’re doing a great job!     Hey listen, I know everyone has chimed in on the girl situation and you’re probably tired of talking about it at this point, but I wanted to try to talk to you about it as well because I’ve had the unwelcome pleasure of going through 3 life changing heart breaks that I never thought I’d recover from so I can speak to you from experience and hopefully put some perspective on things.     I had been with Alicia for 5 years, we were in love but it was more than that. It was how the family loved her, how much I loved her family and ...
