yo momma! Good fast week....and WE BAPTIZED! We were able to baptize Junior on Saturday. He was always tough to tell with progress the last 2 weeks, but this past week he really hit it on. He always had good good doubts, but doubts we were always able to answer them. On thursday we asked him about baptism and he seemed he would be ready this transfer but we were unsure about this weekend. But we went back friday and gave him a few options and he just said "ah lets do it tomorrow." haha it was so awesome and the spirit just rushed through me in that moment and i felt an immense happiness. its my favorite happiness on the mission its incredible. You just realize the choice someone is making and it makes you feel so good and that God is truly in control. So I baptized him on saturday and then we confirmed him in church on Sunday. And now the awesome part is we should start teaching his wife soon and his brother. hes super motivated to help them make the same step. so we will see how that goes. him and his wife are like halfway seperated halfway not. its kinda weird and they arent living together right now but they are together a lot and during those times we will try to teach her. THeres a really cool story how we found his brother and were lead to find him too that i will tell in my big email.

thats so cool that you guys can see my apartments and my areas with technology today. I think ill always send you guys my addresses so you guys can do that. To get to the temple the mission rents a big bus. they do it for every transfer to transport people to and from interior and capital. its a nice bus and super comfy so i like it. it was about 1 hr and a half. in sorocaba there are onibus (bus) but a lot less than sao paulo obviously. we dont ever have to use them in our area except to go to zone meetings. There are taxis in both places but generally for the richer people and they arent very common. Yes there are metro trains in sao paulo. ive been on a few different ones, some were actually really really nice and cool. its funny cause as you get closer to downtown sao paulo everything starts showing up in english as well as portuguese just cause its the international language and they need to have it in the big city.

exercise bands are really good. they are super good quality. and i dont have cynderblocks in this apt so i was using literally 3 liter bottles full of water. i still use them its not too heavy but it works out for me along with the bands. The food here is good. There isnt as much street food but its not a big deal i just spend a little more at the grocery store for snacks. As for lunch with the members i think i liked freguesia a little better. but its always good honestly and i cant complain. im trying to eat a ton at lunch! lol As for souvenirs ummm idk not much. a few little things and then ive got my neymar jr. Brazil jersey. Ill probably buy something for the world cup this summer.

Thats awesome about the house! im so glad you guys are hitting it head on. That is a lot of money but i think it will be money well spent in the end on floors. I wish i could work on it with you guys! i think i would love learning a new type of work like that. Hopefully you guys have a full on business running when i get home. Hahah put abby to work!!! dont let her just sit at the pool. I will definitely say lots of prayers for you guys and for the house.

I seriously love paz em cristo. its such a good song and even when i couldnt understand it i just felt the sprit. yeah i think its better than the english version too (which is actually kind of rare with church songs, most of the time english is better). Thats a really good quote. Ive been working super super hard lately. LIke i think we could stay at our house after lunch an extra 15 mins, but then i think "why?" im here to do the lords work and a couple extra minutes of rest wont do me anything so i just go out and work. even after our baptism (around the mission after you baptize is literally known as pday) i went to work. I could tell my comp didnt want to but i told him we is getting to work boy! Hahah its made me realize that i didnt know what sacrifice meant before the mission, so hopefully i will be able to be a much better member when i get home too after seeing the sacrifice of 24/7 i made on the mission.

thats cool that you found that service! I dont need anything right now but if its cheaper and safer, then i would use it in the future. I already bought a watch that i really like so im all good on that. It was only 30 reais and its pretty nice and a silverish color which is different which i am liking.

as for this week our focus is a man named aparecido. we found him 2 weeks ago knocking doors. he is "an elite" as we would say on the mission. we left a BoM with him our first time and came back 2 days later and he had already read 20 chapters!!! that is crazy! He has already told us how much the book has helped him and that he wants to read it with the same frequency as the bible. the only problem is i think he literally wants to read the whole bom before thinking about anything. so it might take a while but its all good. the other focuses of this week will be the family of junior and taking advantage of this excitement he has about the gospel right now. Other than that, we are looking pretty dry right now, so im determined to go find lots of new people this week!

Love you mom! you are the absolute best!

its ok mom. just sad and confused. but i know the lord has a plan. just dont understand why it had to happen this way.  she is dating someone i think. he kinda looks like me lol except he has huge ears. your right. its just time to turn a corner. no matter how hard that is. im gonna write her a letter today just telling her how i feel and be done with it. im being transferred. I will go to Jardim Simos and be with an elder I dont know. I will be the senior companion which is really cool. Hes a brazilian, just finished his traning, and has about only 3 months on the mission. Im so glad and relieved. i was just ready to leave aguiar. he is just a difficult person sometimes.  love you mom.  yeah that sounds really difficult and probably something that would be really hard to do at the mission office haha. ok thank you for looking it up.  I love you so freaking much mom! You are my hero! Sorry that it has to be all annoying like this. I will defini...

Good morning my sweet boy! How was your week? I’m hoping there were some baptisms and the people followed through on their commitments:) Did you love conference? One of my favorite things about it was how I knew we were sitting there doing the exact same thing at the same time! That was comforting to me. I absolutely loved it! If you didn’t get a chance to watch the women’s broadcast you should try. I will send you an Ensign conference edition when it gets here so you can read all the talks again and study them. I feel like I received many personal messages from the talks. So many of them focused on our ability to stay faithful and receive comfort during trials... not one minute of our suffering is wasted. It is all for our good and our growth. That was one of the messages that I took away and feel strengthened by.  I also felt a recommitment to strengthening my conversion. That also seemed to be a theme of conference. Are we living the gospel by going through the motions and check...

Hey buddy!    I’m glad I finally get a chance to sit down and write. Baby stuff has taken over my life but we are very excited to have Harper with us in the next few weeks. Excited for you to meet your new little cousin when you return. Sounds like you are doing really well! I know you’ve had minor struggles and home sickness along the way, but it’s good to see you pumped and positive. Sounds like you’re doing a great job!     Hey listen, I know everyone has chimed in on the girl situation and you’re probably tired of talking about it at this point, but I wanted to try to talk to you about it as well because I’ve had the unwelcome pleasure of going through 3 life changing heart breaks that I never thought I’d recover from so I can speak to you from experience and hopefully put some perspective on things.     I had been with Alicia for 5 years, we were in love but it was more than that. It was how the family loved her, how much I loved her family and ...
