Hi sweet boy!  How is my beautiful son this Monday?  Did you love this weekend? Conference was so great!  Did you know that the new apostle Elder Soares is from Sao Paulo?!  So many big changes announced that sound really exciting.  It is amazing that Pres. Nelson is 93 years old but he is so sharp mentally and physically.  He has sought revelation to help the church prepare for the second coming and we are now being asked to step up and be better.  I think it is wonderful and I hope I can live up to what I need to do to be a better disciple.

So I have some really exciting news for you!  Erik and Chelsea are pregnant!!!  Now you will come home to two new cousins you've never met;)  Erik was at our house Friday night just with our family.  I was talking to him about some medication that Chelsea can take for her OCD when she gets pregnant that is safe for the baby.  Then Erik said, "Why do you think Chelsea is pregnant?  Because she is!"  He wasn't supposed to tell us and it took him a total of 2 seconds to just blurt it out.  It was so funny because he didn't even try NOT to tell us!  LOL.  So I'm telling you (because there is more I want to tell you about it) but you can't say anything about it in any letter yet.  But I know you have been thinking about Erik and Chels so I wanted to tell you what he told us Friday that is so neat.

Erik said that he had been meeting with his bishop and they moved into a smaller apartment so they could more easily pay their tithing (because they hadn't been paying it) and they worked to get their temple recommends which they have now.  This has all happened in the last few months.  Then Erik said that shortly after they made those changes Chelsea got pregnant.  Then, Erik said he felt reluctant to pray about a better job but he told the Lord that he needed financial help and a way for him to better support his family.  Within 2 days, someone at their corporate office called him and said that his name came up as someone they would like to consider for a job at corporate.  So Erik is now applying to be the overall manager of two ER facilities.  His salary would nearly double if he gets this job!  He is so excited about it and feels overwhelmed by the love of his Heavenly Father and Savior.  He said that he knows Heavenly Father wanted to bless him and was waiting for him to button up and do better and he was so richly blessed for doing it!

It makes me think of a scripture I read this week.  In 3 nephi 17:4 Christ tells the Nephites that he will soon leave to go visit the lost tribes of isreal "for they are not lost unto the Father, for he knoweth whither he hath taken them."  Even though there are times when we feel lost or forgotten, we are not lost to Him.  Heavenly father knows each of us and knows what we need. He knows you and everything you need. I know Erik felt that too this week and I'm so happy that it has strengthened his faith and he has really turned a corner.  I think they are going to tell the whole family Sunday after Sydneys wedding when we are all in Utah.  By the way, we will be going to Utah from April 11-16... just an fyi.

Sunday morning we had the Elders over for breakfast and the first session of conference.  The new elder that replaced the one we really love is such a nerd!  I asked him if he liked Prosper and he said, "not really."  His comp looked over at me an kinda rolled his eyes.  LOL.  After conference, we went to Laurette's where we all had EAster dinner.  We had a lot of food and fun.  We talked about you and everyone is so impressed with your letters and how great you are doing.  I'm so proud of you too my boy!  You are such an incredible example to us all and I love you sooooo very much!

I have another funny story about Cater Leland and his first week in the MTC.  Let me know if Abby doesn't tell you about it and if not, then I will.  He has no idea what he is about to embark on! lol!!!

I can't wait to hear about your week.  I love you infinity + infinity and even more than that!

Good morning my sweet boy! How was your week? I’m hoping there were some baptisms and the people followed through on their commitments:) Did you love conference? One of my favorite things about it was how I knew we were sitting there doing the exact same thing at the same time! That was comforting to me. I absolutely loved it! If you didn’t get a chance to watch the women’s broadcast you should try. I will send you an Ensign conference edition when it gets here so you can read all the talks again and study them. I feel like I received many personal messages from the talks. So many of them focused on our ability to stay faithful and receive comfort during trials... not one minute of our suffering is wasted. It is all for our good and our growth. That was one of the messages that I took away and feel strengthened by.  I also felt a recommitment to strengthening my conversion. That also seemed to be a theme of conference. Are we living the gospel by going through the motions and check...

Hey buddy!    I’m glad I finally get a chance to sit down and write. Baby stuff has taken over my life but we are very excited to have Harper with us in the next few weeks. Excited for you to meet your new little cousin when you return. Sounds like you are doing really well! I know you’ve had minor struggles and home sickness along the way, but it’s good to see you pumped and positive. Sounds like you’re doing a great job!     Hey listen, I know everyone has chimed in on the girl situation and you’re probably tired of talking about it at this point, but I wanted to try to talk to you about it as well because I’ve had the unwelcome pleasure of going through 3 life changing heart breaks that I never thought I’d recover from so I can speak to you from experience and hopefully put some perspective on things.     I had been with Alicia for 5 years, we were in love but it was more than that. It was how the family loved her, how much I loved her family and ...
