hi momma! yeah its pretty crazy we are already gonna talk again. im pretty excited to just talk to some familiar faces and relax for a little.
so could you send me a pic of all the ties i left at home laid out. i think it would work to send a couple of those rather than spend money on new ones. i just want to see the colors. also i found out that that tax i had to pay was for lauretttes letter to me! wasnt even the package! so i have no idea where the package is. also did you guys happen to send some jeep pics in the package or of me with the jeep. i would love that!!!
it was another tough week in the work honestly. its been the two toughest of my mission honestly. just facing a lot of rejection but feel like im doing everything i can. know i just need to be patient. we went 0 for 4 with people who told us they would be in church this week. it was pretty freaking frustrating. but we did mark baptismal dates with 2 people. Our mission has made it a big thing that we need to be inviting people to be baptized the FIRST LESSON. i was always scared to do it but i did it this week and felt blessed for it. but the problem is that neither of them were in church. im hoping at least one works out. We will figure out what happened and stuff this week and hopefully they can go to church next week. one is a 21 year old girl named natiele. she is super cool and is really interested in the church and thought the idea of baptism with the right authority is really cool. so pray for her and continue to pray for gabriel. he wasnt baptized this week cause he ended up going to a wedding on sunday with his mom. but he is pretty firm and should be baptized this sunday!
zone meeting was cool! sister Ribeiro gave an awesome training that i learned a lot from. i will talk about it a little in my big letter. also got to see some of my buddies bear their testimonies cause they are going home this transfer. its so weird cause the first american i know personally will finally go home this transfer. before this its been all hispanics and brazilians.
the work on the house looks awesome! keep up the hard work! yeah im sure take down will be the most physically demanding work so just grind through this part and im sure it will get better. i forgot about pop pop too! im sure he will be a great help. are you gonna share a little of the profit with him?
i loved your message. its very true. maybe i think that sally is the only and the best thing for me but maybe im limiting my vision to what God may want to give me. I will definitely use this message. Generally as people we dont want to ask too much of God but honestly he is here to bless us and sometimes will bless us beyond what we could ever imagine.
I really hope you get a team teacher too. next year is your last year right? it will be so awesome next year when you can go visit sam and abby in the same trip! that will be sooo fun. I personally loved D and C and learned a ton from it. it talks a lot about missionary work. Old testament is going good. im in judges and starting to read about sampson. seems like it will be an interesting cool story. also continuing studies in true to the faith just reading all the explanations of the principles that are listed alphabetically. learning a lot!
My transfer is on the 8th of may because this transfer is the only one all year that is 5 weeks instead of 6. so that first sunday will be the skype. but 99% sure that i will stay here to finish the training of Jairo so it should be all good. Our church ends at 12 my time and then we usually dont get out of lunch until 2:30 cause it takes forever on sunday. so it will most likely be after that.
love you momma!
