ok so about skype. our church ends at noon. we usually start our lunch with a member at 1 and then it takes forever on sunday cause its always a huge meal so we dont end up getting home til 3 or 3:30. But we only have 1 computer for now so idk who will go first me or my comp. Ill try to go first. so should be like 4 o clock. but also i need to set up something with sam so idk if that will be before or after. but I think you guys are pretty flexible right? I will probably just message you a time really quick on sunday when i know. 

yeah i asked about the scripture becasue the portuguese translation of "sabbath" is actually saturday so lots of people get mixed up the sabbath day where as in america everyone practices sunday. but the church uses this scripture to show that its sunday and its one of the new things that jesus brought instead of just sticking with the old testament ways. I wanted to know what "lay them in store" meant to so that helped. 

Im so happy you had a good bday weekend! I was thinking about you on sunday and it was a good day!Im glad you have those good friends and dad who both took you out. i remember seeing les mis one time i think as a movie and i remembered thinking it was cool. Im glad you liked the video to! im thinking that maybe i can send a quick 30 second update maybe once a week or once every 2 weeks to you guys. the problem here is we still dont have keys to the church!! and its not even in our area anyway. 

i love the spiritual thought because i have thought a lot about what really is a broken heart and a contrite spirit too. its talked about so much in the book of mormom so i think its a good thing that people have a greater knowledge about it. Im always working on humility. its something that i think we can never perfect so its something we can always strive for. 

Nothing special that i need for next week. 

So i finally exhanged my money for reais. It was the 100 dollar bill from the winters. turns out the exchange rate is really good right now so i got 335. I brought that $20 money order thing that jon conkling sent me and the guy said it wouldnt work out too well cause its not that big of an amount and it might get rejected. so he told me just to wait. If i wait all the way till the end of my mission do you think thats too long?

So i give up on my letters to you guys. officially lost): im sooooo mad. i spent so long on those things. but whatever. also sent a letter to sally and i dont think it will get there either. SOOOO FRUSTRATING i was able to explain how i felt and everything perfectly and now i dont think she will get it. 

also do a practice skype from your house to the opfars house this week! it would be cool if you guys got it set up on the tv.

Ok fam ive written down some stuff i wanna talk to you guys about but also write down any questions or stuff that you wanna talk about this week! Im honestly super happy here so it shouldnt be sad i dont think.

Im a District LEader this transfer! haha it was funny cause my current LD didnt even tell me last night when he called to talk about the transfer cause i think he was confused about it all.
but we went bowling with our Zone leaders today and they told me! im super excited and a little nervous that i have to give trainings in every district meeting now! but itll be dope and ill get to do baptismal interviews too! im super super excited!

its ok mom. just sad and confused. but i know the lord has a plan. just dont understand why it had to happen this way.  she is dating someone i think. he kinda looks like me lol except he has huge ears. your right. its just time to turn a corner. no matter how hard that is. im gonna write her a letter today just telling her how i feel and be done with it. im being transferred. I will go to Jardim Simos and be with an elder I dont know. I will be the senior companion which is really cool. Hes a brazilian, just finished his traning, and has about only 3 months on the mission. Good morning my sweet boy! How was your week? I’m hoping there were some baptisms and the people followed through on their commitments:) Did you love conference? One of my favorite things about it was how I knew we were sitting there doing the exact same thing at the same time! That was comforting to me. I absolutely loved it! If you didn’t get a chance to watch the women’s broadcast you should try. I will send you an Ensign conference edition when it gets here so you can read all the talks again and study them. I feel like I received many personal messages from the talks. So many of them focused on our ability to stay faithful and receive comfort during trials... not one minute of our suffering is wasted. It is all for our good and our growth. That was one of the messages that I took away and feel strengthened by.  I also felt a recommitment to strengthening my conversion.
