Hi love!  I am so excited to hear about your week!  How was the wedding?  How were the baptisms?  I thought about you all day Wednesday and Saturday hoping it was a wonderful event for R&P and their family.  Tell me everything!

What else happened this week?  What are you doing for pday?  Did some of your other investigators come to the baptism on Saturday?

We had a good week.  Riggs got shaved and he looks so tiny and cute!  He looks like Lyla's son.  She owns him!  lol.  They really don't do well when they are separated.  Lyla ran all over the house looking for Riggs and when she couldn't find him, she just laid down on the floor with her eyes open and didn't move until he got home.  Then the groomers did exactly what we told them not to do... shave his butt.  So now he is scooting around on his butt trying to scratch it on the carpet..UGH.  We went back and got a refund but I'm so mad at them!

The house is on the market!  We got it on the market friday and we had two showings saturday and an open house on sunday.  I'm a little disappointed in activity.  I was definately hoping for more showings.  And the agents that showed the house have not responded to my requests for feedback yet. I'm really interested in their feedback so I'll keep trying.  I'm really praying for a quick sale.  We leave for vacation on June 29 and I really hope we have it under contract by then!

So for vacation, we are going to fly to denver and spend a couple of days with Grandma and Grandpa.  Then from there we will go to SLC and spend a few days there.  Then on July 5 first thing in the morning we will head to McCall.  I'm going to call the Adcocks and Lakes this week and see if we can meet them for lunch one day while we are there.  Do you remember both of them?  I'm hoping to have dinner with Sam's mission president and wife too.  I think it will be a fun week but I'll miss my  boy!  Cliff jumping won't be the same without you!

The opfars went on a cruise this week. They took Tyler on the same cruise we went on with them (Belize and Honduras).  I think they had fun but missed being with us.  It's probably more fun with another family  We started talking about planning our vacation for next summer after you get home:)

We are getting ready to celebrate Father's Day on Sunday and Abby's birthday on Saturday.  She's going to be 18??!!!!  So crazy.  I think for a get together, we are going to rent a kareoke room for about 2 hours for her friends to hang out in and sing.  Should be fun.  I have been asked to speak on Father's Day about the blessings of the priesthood.  Any thing you want to share with me that I should include in my talk???

I have a couple of favorite quotes for you today... some that make me think of you.

"I testify that bad days come to and end, that faith always triumphs, and that heavens promises are always kept." -Jeffrey R. Holland

"By helping others come unto Him, you will find that you have come unto Him yourself."  - Henry B. Eyring

I have loved watching your testimony and conversion to the gospel grow the more you have served others there in Brazil.  I love you my son and I'm so very proud of you!  Can't wait to talk with you!

Good morning my sweet boy! How was your week? I’m hoping there were some baptisms and the people followed through on their commitments:) Did you love conference? One of my favorite things about it was how I knew we were sitting there doing the exact same thing at the same time! That was comforting to me. I absolutely loved it! If you didn’t get a chance to watch the women’s broadcast you should try. I will send you an Ensign conference edition when it gets here so you can read all the talks again and study them. I feel like I received many personal messages from the talks. So many of them focused on our ability to stay faithful and receive comfort during trials... not one minute of our suffering is wasted. It is all for our good and our growth. That was one of the messages that I took away and feel strengthened by.  I also felt a recommitment to strengthening my conversion. That also seemed to be a theme of conference. Are we living the gospel by going through the motions and check...

Hey buddy!    I’m glad I finally get a chance to sit down and write. Baby stuff has taken over my life but we are very excited to have Harper with us in the next few weeks. Excited for you to meet your new little cousin when you return. Sounds like you are doing really well! I know you’ve had minor struggles and home sickness along the way, but it’s good to see you pumped and positive. Sounds like you’re doing a great job!     Hey listen, I know everyone has chimed in on the girl situation and you’re probably tired of talking about it at this point, but I wanted to try to talk to you about it as well because I’ve had the unwelcome pleasure of going through 3 life changing heart breaks that I never thought I’d recover from so I can speak to you from experience and hopefully put some perspective on things.     I had been with Alicia for 5 years, we were in love but it was more than that. It was how the family loved her, how much I loved her family and ...
