Hi baby!  How is my incredible boy? How are your english classes going? How are your investigators progressing?  I've been thinking about your safety a lot lately.  Do you feel safe where you are?  Do you pray for protection and safety every day?  I do. And I know you are protected.  I just want to make sure you are being guided by the spirit and listening to those promptings.

We have had a good and tough week.  I miss my kids!  This transition is tough.  I really just miss the noise and love and busyness in our house.  Now its just two crazy dogs!  We have also had so much craziness this week that it has helped me to stay busy and not too focused on the quiet.  Both of our water heaters went out!  That is kinda crazy!  So we had no hot water for a few days which meant some cold showers.  Have you had to take cold showers on your mission? They suck!!!  But dad was able to install both of them and we only had to spend about $1200 to install both saving us about $1500.  Then the pool pump is still broken at the flip house and we can't get it figured out... someone is coming tomorrow to fix it.  The pool looks like its filled with baby poo.  Hopefully it will be all clear by the end of the week.

I think Abby is doing so great!  She is meeting good people and having lots of fun. I told her to slow down because she has probably done everything fun there is to do in Idaho in the first two weeks.  LOL  She is cooking pretty well and learning more each day.  What do you usually cook yourself for dinner?

We had a fun celebration on Saturday night for Andrew and Katies 30th birthdays.  Their birthdays are 4 days apart.  Sydney and Peter flew in too which was so fun.  We played some good 90's trivia games.  I sent you a video of the boys doing some charades.  I hope you can see it!  Then on Sunday, we had a birthday party for Misti and Brooke.  Just a fun and relaxing night.

I've been working more which is great!  I had some clients that I took ALL over this weekend. Anna, Melissa, Princeton, Farmersville, etc. We drove a ton!  I also listed the Hema's house which looks great!  I'm hoping we can sell it quickly.

I have a couple of quotes that I want to share with you that I read this week.  The first one is "Let your code of conduct emphasize not "What will others think?" but rather "What will I think of myself?" - Thomas S. Monson I think sometime this is so hard to do but if you can get to this point, it makes it so much easier to do the right thing.  The other quote is an important one for missionaries and investigators. "When your WHY is strong enough, it makes your HOW easier."  I love that one too. I sat next to the Cordys in sunday school yesterday and we talked about our boys!  How proud we are of you, how much of a difference you are making in your own lives and the lives of others, and how much we love you!  You are always part of our family get togethers, in our prayers and you are ALWAYS in my heart.  I love you so much, G!  You are an extraordinary son.

Have an amazing week!

Good morning my sweet boy! How was your week? I’m hoping there were some baptisms and the people followed through on their commitments:) Did you love conference? One of my favorite things about it was how I knew we were sitting there doing the exact same thing at the same time! That was comforting to me. I absolutely loved it! If you didn’t get a chance to watch the women’s broadcast you should try. I will send you an Ensign conference edition when it gets here so you can read all the talks again and study them. I feel like I received many personal messages from the talks. So many of them focused on our ability to stay faithful and receive comfort during trials... not one minute of our suffering is wasted. It is all for our good and our growth. That was one of the messages that I took away and feel strengthened by.  I also felt a recommitment to strengthening my conversion. That also seemed to be a theme of conference. Are we living the gospel by going through the motions and check...

Hey buddy!    I’m glad I finally get a chance to sit down and write. Baby stuff has taken over my life but we are very excited to have Harper with us in the next few weeks. Excited for you to meet your new little cousin when you return. Sounds like you are doing really well! I know you’ve had minor struggles and home sickness along the way, but it’s good to see you pumped and positive. Sounds like you’re doing a great job!     Hey listen, I know everyone has chimed in on the girl situation and you’re probably tired of talking about it at this point, but I wanted to try to talk to you about it as well because I’ve had the unwelcome pleasure of going through 3 life changing heart breaks that I never thought I’d recover from so I can speak to you from experience and hopefully put some perspective on things.     I had been with Alicia for 5 years, we were in love but it was more than that. It was how the family loved her, how much I loved her family and ...
