Good morning sweet Elder G!!!
How was your week? Do you guys have transfers on Tuesday? Or is that next week? How are things with you and Elder Hequer? How about your investigators? I also want to know what you talked to your zone about to encourage them? How did it go?
We had another crazy week. I feel like this last month has been a blur. Abby gone for so long, and then I went to Utah, and then Sam came here and then Jackson (abby's new bf) was hear and just left yesterday. Now we are busy today getting ready for our road trip to Idaho. We leave at 5am tomorrow morning!!! So It is a crazy day and we haven't even started before today because Jackson was here.
So Jackson... we had a lot of fun with him! I like him a lot and he treats Abby so great! He is very engaging and charming. I think he fits great with our family and both you and Sam would really like him. So, not sure how this will go, but if somehow it works out between them, I'd be happy about it. He comes from a family that I grew up with in Roseville, so making all those connections was fun. PopPop taught baseball lessons to his uncle, Kevin played baseball with a different uncle and Jackson's mom was Kevin's long term substitute teacher when he was in high school and he along with all the other boys had a huge crush on her. LOL!
We all got together for an end of summer party and to send Abby off. We all took a picture for you that is in your "pic" email. We sure miss you! But we had a fun celebration on Thursday and toasted to your "one year!!!" Are you so excited?! That is crazy!
Sam just paid you $120 for an ATV sale. He had previously paid you $50. So $170 is a nice profit in a short time. Just wanted to give you a report on that.
I'm kinda running today since we have so much to do. But I want you to know how much I love you my amazing son! You make me so proud and it is so rewarding to watch you from the sidelines and see the man you have become! I love you infinity + infinity and even more than that!

p.s. A couple of quotes from this week that I really liked. xoxoxo
“…There are times when we will experience heartbreaking sorrow, when we will grieve and when we may be tested to our limits. However, such difficulties allow us to change for the better, to rebuild our lives in the way our Heavenly Father teaches us, and to become something different from what we were – better than what we were, more understanding than what we were, more empathetic that what we were, with stronger testimonies than we had before.”
- Thomas S. Monson--
“Following Christ is not a casual or occasional practice but a continuous commitment and way of life that applies at all times and in all places.”
- Dallin H. Oaks
