yo momma! i think im gonna warn everyone when im on every week just so you can respond asap and i can try to be on for less time in the lan house.

so the week was super busy but great! We baptized Gilmara and Aline who are a mom and daughter we met last week. It was really cool! I cant describe the feeling when you see someone coming closer to God through baptism. Just to see their happiness on their faces was priceless. We were hardly in our area this week which makes it way harder. But thats just gonna be how it is. We have just got to do lots more with much less time. My companion literally goes to a psycologist so yeah....hes got some problems with stress and anxiety. its been hard, but i understand the Lord inspired president for him to be with me. President literally told me in our interview this week that his calling as a zone leader isnt for other people, but its for him to be happy. lol. ughh its whatever. he likes to work like a said, but he doesnt know how to work at a LZ level. Im helping him with his portuguese...lets see if it improves. Ive decided to talk only in Portuguese almost always with himcause i dont wanna slow down on my portuguese progress. Everyone tells me i talk at a really good level so thats exciting. We are working with a man named Claudio who went to church this week and even stayed for the baptism. Hes a really cool guy and has a strong desire. He needs to stop drinking so we are focused on helping him with that this week.

ALSO AMAZING STORY! So i was in splits this week in one of the coolest areas on the mission. Ill send pics. But in the morning we were just visiting a bunch of randon people from the area book (like people from the past). I was a little down just thinking "why are we working with these people who either arent at home or dont want anything?" Then...we knocked on the last door we had and this guy walks out and immediately opens up the gate and tells us to come in. He said that he and his wife had passed by the church like 30 minutes earlier and had became curious. They said the night before they had been talking about all the questions the Plan of Salvation answers and we told them about eternal families. The lesson was incredible and they accepted a baptismal date. It was a crazy awesome exxperience and now I think Im gonna go back to that area and baptize one of them on the 25th. They went to church this week and said they loved it. Looks like they are progressing a ton. The best part is that this area is a super mountainy, sweet area that almost reminds me of colorado. There is a reservoir with CLEAN water (like one of the only places in our mission) and im pretty sure ill be able to baptize them there. IM SO PUMPED. It was truly a miraacle.

The transfer came in today and not much changed in our zone. Mostly stayed the same.

thats awesome that you are going to the gym! Just make a promise to yourself that this resolution will last the whole year!! President Ribeiro said something awesome...he said the a new year will never be a new year if we keep commiting the same mistakes. I feel like that can apply in so many places in our lives. Ive made quite a few goals for now until the end of my mission. Mostly spiritual, but also a few with portuguese and physical.

ill be at the mission office tomorrow so ill miss the package but on the 22nd ill be there too so not a big deal. Thats awesome that erik was able to bless Kohen. HOw are erik and chelsea in the church lately? Melissa would be awesome i would love to go out there!

I loved your message this week. I was studying this week in the topical guide all the subtitles next to the name of Jesus Chirst. It was something President challenged us to do so it has been way cool. I studied about Mediator and thats kinda what it said about JC. he stands between us and lots of things. Its cool to imagine HIm in between me and my difficulties/trials/etc..

PARKER STARTS HIS LAST TRANSFER TODAY HOLY MOLY! I START MY 12th of 16 TRANSFERS!!

The ward here has been good so far. I think they like me. They like anything that speaks portuguese well i think hahahahah. Im excited to continue to get to tknow them. The ward is definitely stronger than my last. there are 150 active or semi active members. Every week there is usually 100-110 at church with the people that miss. Im excited to work here.

LOVE YOU MOMMA!

I will go to Jardim Simos and be with an elder I dont know. I will be the senior companion which is really cool. Hes a brazilian, just finished his traning, and has about only 3 months on the mission. Im so glad and relieved. i was just ready to leave aguiar. he is just a difficult person sometimes.  love you mom.  yeah that sounds really difficult and probably something that would be really hard to do at the mission office haha. ok thank you for looking it up.  I love you so freaking much mom! You are my hero! Sorry that it has to be all annoying like this. I will defini...

Good morning my sweet boy! How was your week? I’m hoping there were some baptisms and the people followed through on their commitments:) Did you love conference? One of my favorite things about it was how I knew we were sitting there doing the exact same thing at the same time! That was comforting to me. I absolutely loved it! If you didn’t get a chance to watch the women’s broadcast you should try. I will send you an Ensign conference edition when it gets here so you can read all the talks again and study them. I feel like I received many personal messages from the talks. So many of them focused on our ability to stay faithful and receive comfort during trials... not one minute of our suffering is wasted. It is all for our good and our growth. That was one of the messages that I took away and feel strengthened by.  I also felt a recommitment to strengthening my conversion. That also seemed to be a theme of conference. Are we living the gospel by going through the motions and check...

Hey buddy!    I’m glad I finally get a chance to sit down and write. Baby stuff has taken over my life but we are very excited to have Harper with us in the next few weeks. Excited for you to meet your new little cousin when you return. Sounds like you are doing really well! I know you’ve had minor struggles and home sickness along the way, but it’s good to see you pumped and positive. Sounds like you’re doing a great job!     Hey listen, I know everyone has chimed in on the girl situation and you’re probably tired of talking about it at this point, but I wanted to try to talk to you about it as well because I’ve had the unwelcome pleasure of going through 3 life changing heart breaks that I never thought I’d recover from so I can speak to you from experience and hopefully put some perspective on things.     I had been with Alicia for 5 years, we were in love but it was more than that. It was how the family loved her, how much I loved her family and ...
