Hi my love!!

Abby and i are sitting at the airport ready to take off for home. There are tons of Missionaries leaving here. We’re watching them say goodbye to their families and it’s heartbreaking to watch but it’s exciting to know in two weeks you will be with us! I think back to when we were saying goodbye to you and it seems so long ago. But in another way the time has gone quickly and I can’t believe in two weeks you’ll be home with us!

We had a great week here! Spencer‘s talk was phenomenal and the whole meeting was really great. They do pretty big farewell celebrations here so Noelle had lunch for about 70 people at her house right after church. We worked really hard to pull that off and it was a lot of fun. Utah. 🙄

Super hot here. Hotter than It is in Texas right now. But they’ve had tons of rain so the mountains are beautiful and green. I spent lots of time helping Dani too. The girls are so adorable and Dani has been getting a lot of exposure since her video went viral. She recorded interviews for two podcasts this week and she’s actually starting her own podcast. She’s actually been on a few dates too. I think it’s too fast but whatever works right now.

Did you get to hear Spencer’s talk that I sent you?

Ok. Flight is taking off so I need to run. Tell me about this week. Have you had a chance to answer any of my questions from Last week?

I love you so much G! Here is my spiritual thought this week:

The resurrected Savior appeared to that small assembly of Saints. His first words were, “Peace be unto you.” The Savior then showed them His hands and His sides and “then were the disciples glad” (see John 20:20). What a needed spiritual feast that must have been, but Thomas missed it because “he was not with them when Jesus came” (see John 20:24).
The other disciples didn’t perform some herculean effort that “earned” them such a sweet experience with the Savior—they simply were consistently where they should have been. Maybe they were feeling just as scared and hurt as Thomas was, but they chose to still show up. And because they did, the Savior was able to speak the peace they needed. Later in that chapter, we learn that Thomas was present at the next gathering of the disciples, and that was when he able to interact with the Savior and receive His blessing of peace (see John 20:26). I like looking at the story from this angle because it teaches the comforting truth that whenever we are ready to come, the Savior is ready to receive

Tell me about Your week. How was church yesterday? I love you infinity plus infinity and even more than that.

Xoxoxo

Good morning my sweet boy! How was your week? I’m hoping there were some baptisms and the people followed through on their commitments:) Did you love conference? One of my favorite things about it was how I knew we were sitting there doing the exact same thing at the same time! That was comforting to me. I absolutely loved it! If you didn’t get a chance to watch the women’s broadcast you should try. I will send you an Ensign conference edition when it gets here so you can read all the talks again and study them. I feel like I received many personal messages from the talks. So many of them focused on our ability to stay faithful and receive comfort during trials... not one minute of our suffering is wasted. It is all for our good and our growth. That was one of the messages that I took away and feel strengthened by.  I also felt a recommitment to strengthening my conversion. That also seemed to be a theme of conference. Are we living the gospel by going through the motions and check...

Hey buddy!    I’m glad I finally get a chance to sit down and write. Baby stuff has taken over my life but we are very excited to have Harper with us in the next few weeks. Excited for you to meet your new little cousin when you return. Sounds like you are doing really well! I know you’ve had minor struggles and home sickness along the way, but it’s good to see you pumped and positive. Sounds like you’re doing a great job!     Hey listen, I know everyone has chimed in on the girl situation and you’re probably tired of talking about it at this point, but I wanted to try to talk to you about it as well because I’ve had the unwelcome pleasure of going through 3 life changing heart breaks that I never thought I’d recover from so I can speak to you from experience and hopefully put some perspective on things.     I had been with Alicia for 5 years, we were in love but it was more than that. It was how the family loved her, how much I loved her family and ...
