Yeah the baptism was really fun. I always say that i look for experiences on the mission, and that was one of them. lol Dr. Rey is a really strange dude. but im grateful for him cause hes a missionary! He helped us out a lot with her. idk if it would have happened if it wasnt for him. She said that she felt a lot of peace after her decision. She said she felt really great about what she had decided so that was exciting. We confirmed her on sunday and it was really good. The ward did really well with her and she is really excited to go to the temple to baptize her brother who died last year. She also even wants to get her patriarchal blessing cause i think dr. rey talked a bit about it with her.
The rest of the week went well! Lots of searching for new people. We havent had a ton of success but im not worried. I know the Lord will bless us in His time. Like I said that family didnt go to church, but i think they are all good still. On saturday we had a lesson with the mom and daughter and they both accepted baptism. We want to take them to the visitors center this week if possible. We are super excited about them. The girl who is 16 is super super good. She would be a really good baptism. She is really interested and already has some friends in the ward. We wanna bring a young woman named Laurette (lol) with us this week to a lesson. I have a good feeling still about this family. Also that Luis who is an eternal investigator who has the son at BYU I is still going strong. His son got his mission call yesterday and he is gonna go to Asuncion Paraguay. Im way excited for him. SOO much respect for these dudes who were baptized a year ago (ALONE) and are already leaving to go preach the gospel. What a stud!

Thats awesome news about Syd and Cameron. Im glad he'll be at A&M that is a great school! And im glad they are still in Texas.

Yeah look for the X. If you really cant find it in any place you can get the other one.

That sounds fun for abby! She will be able to get out of her routine and do something a little different. Im glad dad will be able to his Dad as well. And that you will get to see Dani again. I cant believe Spencer is leaving so soon! That is crazy! He is gonna have a blast!

You can pray for Claudia and her family and for Luis. Im all good besides that. Ive just been praying that I can take advantage of every second that I have left here. The new secretary is good...lol. Its frustrating sometimes with him. we are very different peopple. Like he is soooo innocent he just doesnt understand a few things. LIke he does contacts with drunk dudes on the street.....But im glad for it. I know the Lord is looking to get the best out of me. I will continue learning patience haha. But im all chill honestly. I really like my other comp elder Araujo. Hes been one of my favorites.

I love you momma! I miss you so much. Just know im working hard out here and that ill see y'all in 4 weeks!

Hes a brazilian, just finished his traning, and has about only 3 months on the mission. Im so glad and relieved. i was just ready to leave aguiar. he is just a difficult person sometimes.  love you mom.  yeah that sounds really difficult and probably something that would be really hard to do at the mission office haha. ok thank you for looking it up.  I love you so freaking much mom! Good morning my sweet boy! How was your week? I’m hoping there were some baptisms and the people followed through on their commitments:) Did you love conference? One of my favorite things about it was how I knew we were sitting there doing the exact same thing at the same time! That was comforting to me. I absolutely loved it! If you didn’t get a chance to watch the women’s broadcast you should try. I will send you an Ensign conference edition when it gets here so you can read all the talks again and study them. I feel like I received many personal messages from the talks. So many of them focused on our ability to stay faithful and receive comfort during trials... not one minute of our suffering is wasted. It is all for our good and our growth. That was one of the messages that I took away and feel strengthened by.  I also felt a recommitment to strengthening my conversion. That also seemed to be a theme of conference. Are we living the gospel by going through the motions and check...

Hey buddy!    I’m glad I finally get a chance to sit down and write. Baby stuff has taken over my life but we are very excited to have Harper with us in the next few weeks. Excited for you to meet your new little cousin when you return. Sounds like you are doing really well! I know you’ve had minor struggles and home sickness along the way, but it’s good to see you pumped and positive. Sounds like you’re doing a great job!     Hey listen, I know everyone has chimed in on the girl situation and you’re probably tired of talking about it at this point, but I wanted to try to talk to you about it as well because I’ve had the unwelcome pleasure of going through 3 life changing heart breaks that I never thought I’d recover from so I can speak to you from experience and hopefully put some perspective on things.     I had been with Alicia for 5 years, we were in love but it was more than that. It was how the family loved her, how much I loved her family and ...
